PyTILE problem

Postby Heinermann » Thu Dec 16, 2010 8:33 am

Importing megatile groups does not work.

Also I want to export all of the megatiles in one giant graphic and import an edited copy (only the graphic, no info). How would I do this?

HawtTiles doesn't even work (crashes when you do ANYTHING, and if you can actually get a preview then it doesn't display correctly).

What happens when you try and import megatile groups? Does importing just one megatile or minitile work?

Hmm, I guess I never exposed that option... You'd have to get Python and the source version of PyMS and I can give some code to do it.

When I do a single megatile import I get the following unknown internal error:

Code: Select all

Exception in Tkinter callback
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "Tkinter.pyc", line 1404, in __call__
File "PyTILE.pyw", line 454, in iimport
File "LibsTilesets.pyc", line 330, in interpret
ValueError: list.remove(x): x not in list

When I do a full megatile group import (entire row) it tries to read the options in the exported text in a different order than it exports it as, When I re-order it correctly, it will just do nothing (won't import).

When I try importing a minitile, it does nothing.

I get errors and am unable to close the MiniTile editor after accessing it from the MiniTile palette (accessing it from the main window works fine).

Ok, i'll look into it. If you want to download Python and the PyMS sources i can give you some code to do it without the gui (i never got around to putting a command line interface on PyTILE).

Return to “PyMS (poiuy_qwert's complete modding suite)”
