PyMS port to python 3.3? (not exactly working)

I started converting the project to python 3.3 in an effort to learn it. So far it has been painful.

I managed to get some functionality though.
  • PyAI, PyDAT, PyFNT, PyICE, PyLO, PyTBL, PyTILE, and PyTRG immediately close after displaying the GUI for a frame.
  • PyGOT can save files but not load them (has to do with the default unicode string encoding).
  • PyGRP can't load (save untested).
  • PyMPQ appears to load an MPQ, but doesn't display anything, can't add to archives, listbox is broken
  • PyPAL appears to work, though palette drawing is slightly skewed.
  • PyPCX fails to load (but had it partially fixed, identified line causing problem)

I'm going to abandon it, but this is for anyone who wants to try and fix it.

Why abandon it? Python is a very powerful language once you get more acquainted with it.

The port, not the language. :P
