Yeah you should send it to him. If you're a student then you can also participate in the SSCAI 2012 tournament which had a good turnout last year and may contain prize money and trophies this year.

Man, I not a student anymore for years. ^^' But I could encourage my students to participate.

EDIT: I just realized that some matches concern a bot against itself (like Quorum Vs Quorum). It is a bit weird to do that, isn't it?

Hi, yeah, mirror matches do occur but they don't count towards stats and ELO rating. They're more of a crash test. Some of them are interesting to watch, too.
Heinermann told you right. Just send the bot to me as well as a list of maps it can play on and which BWAPI rev it uses.
I am not running the winter competition bots at the moment as I suspect there is a bug in BWAPI r4025 that causes the bots to crash which influences their stats. I will run them again once Heinermann investigates the logs I sent him and we resolve the issue in BWAPI.

BTW I can supply a few archives that togeter will include all bot matches played up until now but you'll have to watch every replay one at a time in order to figure out which bots played in that game. I haven't yet implemented a good system to map replays to a certain game.
If anyone is interested in such an archive, tell me.

Hi. As the founder of SSCAI tournament, I'd really appreciate that! Let them know about it please :)

Its cool idea to have bots constantly play each other to find bugs and which bot is truly best. Since all bot makers can improve bot and see it playing they update them. Is there a way to include the bot DLLs or compiled copies as a link so people can download the newest versions? The skynet dll in the 2011 competition is older then the newest version used here it seems but there is no where to get it to practice.

Skynet is open source so you may compile it (if you're able to).

Hi,
I could easily add links to download the bots but this needs to be discussed with bot authors first. Let anyone who is OK with his bot being freely distributed say it here.
Anyway I think I've figured out what used to cause occasional crashes with bots using bwapi 4025. I was missing a method definition in my tournament module. All those bots(compiled against bwapi 3.7.x) have their crash records cleared(just in case it was caused by my TM although the chance was pretty slim) so they now start over clean. The rest of the games(wins, losses) are kept though.
In that matter any new bots(or upgraded old ones) especially using BWAPI 3.7.x are welcome.

There is absolutely no problem from my side. Everyone can find Aiur's sources here: http://code.google.com/p/aiurproject/

So far, I don't have any students that would be interested, I think. AI applied to games is NOT my main research field. Anyway, if I have an occasion to speak about SSCAI tournament, I will.

Added links to Aiur and Skynet bots. Kae, I am still waiting for a new and improved Aiur version :P
