Yeah the challenge is to make a bot that is not scripted but can adapt and react to new or different strategies so it does not have any major weaknesses. I know easier said then done right?
I thought aiur did a good job by sometimes throwing in cannon rushes if the circumstances were right. A lot of bots had no idea what to do and just followed their scripted out build order they decided on. That is example of bots needing to adapt and maybe like ualbertabot need to adjust build order on the fly to stop the cannon rush. There are plenty of other kinds of cheese bots need to stop to really be a challenge for a person.

Can bots deal with something like this? Im not sure I know how to stop this and some luck is involved in scouting it

The bisu proxy gw strat definitely involved some very good micro and his opponent was definitely too slow in his zealot production...

Pretty cool game.
Protoss critique:
Gotta fix that early Goon pressure vs Bunkers/ Range upraded goons should just outrange a bunker, giving them tons of free hits on the bunker, forcing Terran to repair.
After the cheese was over, it was right to double expand, but I think getting leg speed and observers out faster would have been a bigger priority over just getting a ton of extra Gateways.
The big fail into Terran choke wasn't so hot. It could have done a lot more damage attacking Terran's next expansion.

As far as Terran:
The biggest thing I noticed is not expanding along the attacking side of the map. The 3rd expo was well-positioned, but the 4th and 5th went backwards and away from Protoss. As Terran, you always want to expand and attack towards Protoss (and Zerg). If you do it the other way, expanding away from Protoss and attacking towards them, Protoss units move around a lot faster than yours and a good Protoss will make you pay for your mistake.

Getting up ramps seems like a big problem, especially when an enemy unit is in range. The units try to do the micro dance, but it just makes them stuck and often dead.
As always, well-founded critique. Thanks, Myk!
From all the mentioned, the biggest challenge of all is getting up ramps intelligently. The AIs currently can't predict the unit clutter that would be created when each unit is doing the micro on its own...

I think krasi0 mech gets 'over eager' when attacking a base. Whenever there are static defenses, vultures attack and then just die, when they could have just sat near the siege tanks, letting those take down the base.

Taranok, yeah, wraith's micro has this flaw too, but this gives tanks more vision.

Anyway, some good tvt games: ... DZPbzNZZ00
