Automating games restarts while battling your own AI Setting up StarCraft 2 machines (or Virtual Machines of course), one that will create the game that we will call host, the other that will connect to it that we will call client. The host should have a bwapi.ini with things like: ai_dll = C:StarCr...

My idea is that you construct an initial build order but after the game advances, adapt it to the opponent like pro gamers do.
Have a look at how BWSAL's buildordermanager works. This will be very useful to you.

BWAPI itself doesn't support following build orders if you mean the construction of buildings and producing units in a specific order. Yeah, this Zerg AI is really tough.
Look at this rep:

I still haven't found a mecha build order to win against it consistently even though I add some firebats when mass zerglings are detected.

I've run a couple of game vs Avance v 1 (Zerg) and my bot can't hold the vast hordes of upgraded zerglings and hydralisks without cheese or custom gameplay. I guess it wouldn't be that hard to hold with mms but I want to concentrate on mecha play for now. A sample VOD: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...

Hi, IskatuMesk. Are you referring to the cheating(receiving additional resources) ones?
My point is to test versus fair opponents.

Hello, I am planning on testing all the scripts but it takes time to run games, then record the rep and upload the huge video. I've installed the latest BWAI launcher and am going to run all the scripts in alphabetic order. They're indeed a very good testing partner and without the need of a network...
