(v1.2.0) PyDAT is still messy in terms of Race and Supplies. I had released Es'ir Prus v1b and then was forced to release a v1bb because the Terran flag was unchecked on one of the units. However, I'm not sure what causes it. It seems very random. Adding to the mystery, I hadn't actually changed any...

Carrying Capacity

I have run a few experiments with Terran Dropships. Theoretically, the below will apply with all transports. In all of my experiments, the Terran Dropship's have a cargo hold of 16. I will attach the MPQ file I used to do my testings. When different types of units are loaded in, the order of loading...

The dashes are a bad habit; they usually replace "EDIT:". They're also good at separating topics. Yeah, the dropdown thingy. It's messed up. Is 1.2.0 the new version? I can't even tell what version my PyMS is. EDIT: Never mind the 6th line, I'm a faggot. The directory paths for default fil...

I got the first error after trying to save after making a change to the Dark Templar (Hero) ID. The second error was after I clicked the "Contact" button in the error box. EDIT: The first error also results in a corrupted thing Exception in Tkinter callback Traceback (most recent call last...

Uhm, yes. That's what I mean. I think. Sorry. I've also found that changing Supplies in the Units tab of PyDAT tends to screw up the Race flags. I think it just erases the Race flag, leaving no Race checked. In-game, this causes your bugged unit to show up with no food cost, but it prevents the unit...

Don't postpone the next version just because there's no full support! I can live with limited. In other news, PyDAT, PyICE, and other tools of PyMS *really* need to be able to display file-name titles+paths like PyTBL does. EDIT: Open Error: No DAT files found in directory "C:/Program Files/Sta...

Lulz, sorry. I actually tried searching for my post, wondering where it went, but I couldn't find it. I thought it had been a better choice for it to have this topic to have its own topic anyway because it generally encompassed all of the little "Pressing 'Enter' doesn't work!" type of pro...

General Inconsistencies

A thread for generic Py_ code problems, inconsistencies, bumps, bruises, scrapes, and little things that make you want to rip your hair. And you can post about tiny vexing things, too. [PyICE, PyMS 1.1.1] PyICE prevents you from using negative integers in some of the opcodes, such as setvertpos. And...

SFXData tab is a little weird. I don't think the +1 to ID thing works very well for the sound preview. As in, when I click sound preview, I hear the sound that is after the one I have selected. A <1second duration silent .WAV could suffice to fix this, unless PyDAT reads from StarCraft itself.
