Couldn't find revision module (1914.dll)

How does the new revision module load works? I have downloaded the AI's/Bots from the StarCraft 2010 Competition page (http://eis.ucsc.edu/StarCraftParticipants#Download) and wanted to try my AI against one of them. I have tried to add "ai_dll_rev = 1914" to the ini file, because the AI I ...

Multiplayer using BWAPI client on two computers

I have made a small scale combat map in two versions. One for multiplayer (two human players) and one for single player against the build in AI of StarCraft (one human, one computer player), apart from that, both maps are exactly alike. My AI is working for the single player version, bot when I make...

Hi Heinermann I'm trying to use Evolutionary Computation to optimize some values for my bot. I have a little request. Could you help me with inserting a Trigger into the uploaded map file, so it restarts the position and health/hitpoints of all units when one of the teams has zero units left. Of cou...

I think I have found a solution that don't require any use of Files when running the GA. Of course it is still recommended to save the end result and for safety some of the subresults (if the game should crash). The solution that seems to work is to use the Example AI Client (that has it's own Main ...

Yeah I have tried the thing with restart game, but it seems like there is a bug in the restartGame method. It crashes the game some time. I have made a comment here: http://code.google.com/p/bwapi/issues/detail?id=291 I have made a work around where I in the onFrame event checks if any of the teams ...

Both monobridgeAI and clrclient (version 3.2Beta from http://code.google.com/p/bwapi-mono-bridge/) works just fine. I'm using it on Windows 7 x64 with Visual Studio 2010, also works on VS 2008. As you, I didn't want to write my algorithms in C++, when I had the chance to write it in C# and java. Hop...

Did anyone manage to solve this problem with saving and loading different generations, with their scores, between runs of the matches into an XML file.

I'm in the same situation, and want to use GA to optimize some values in my bot, so it would be interesting to here your results on this.

Compiling BWAPI

I'm using one of the C# wrappers (http://code.google.com/p/bwapi-mono- doublewrapper/), that uses BWAPI 2.6.1 and wanted to do some tactics for WeaponCoolDown, but it seems like there was a problem in BWAPI 2.6.1 with WeaponCoolDown. But it is fixed in http://code.google.com/p/bwapi/source/detail?r=...

Java proxy, how to get a units cooldown period?

In the java proxy, does anyone know how to get a units cooldown period, or if it is possible to get a boolean telling if the active unit is in a cooldown period or not. Like you can with the WeaponGroundCooldown method in BWAPI and in the Csharp version.
