I don't think it would be a problem unless someone changed those offsets, but given that one of the rules of design is "Make it idiot proof and they'll make a better idiot," it probably would be good to at least remove the offset value. I may have found the purpose of special ability flag ...

I did an Assembly Search for code that compared a register to the Pylon's value (156, or 9C in hex). (cmp *9c) It returned a fair number of results, and I tried changing them from 9c to 9a (Nexus).
