The project is progressing well!
Would be great if I could have committing rights for bwsal and the other sub-projects so that I can do some work as soon as my exams are finished.

It is indeed an unfair advantage. If implemented well even the rest of it's micro management will be unfair (Shuttle+Reaver, Casters etc) ;)

I think we should concentrate on the building manager right now. We would be able to finally get all 3 races to build their base without the need of special places defined in a xml

Imo the AI shouldnt try to mimic human imperfections. You could add a flag where you can turn off inhuman features but not as a default.

edit: What I mean is that as long as the ai isnt even remotly able to beat a human we shouldnt limit it's abilities further.

the 'log lag' makes sense, because the AI especially lags when used in a campaign mission where there are many doodads etc edit: btw, I noticed several crashes - right now I dont know whether it's related to the bwapi and if it is I have to find out the cause edit2: it's crashing right at the beginn...

I compiled the source and tried a few matches agains a computer. The gather optimization did not lag in the beginning, but as soon as many drones were spamming at once (which happens often when a few mineral stacks are depleted) the game slowed down massively. So I suppose we should try to limit the...

yes - totally devastating - even though his enemies played very well they had no chance against that kinda macro :D
